Is it possible to sell food supplements in vending machines?

In the food supplements legislation there is no express prohibition that food supplements can be put on sale in vending machines, since for practical purposes it is the same as when they are supplied in a retail store or retail store.

For this case, since the sale of this type of food products in vending machines is not contemplated or expressly regulated, what should be taken into account is:

1. Comply with the regulations governing trade in vending or vending machines, to which Law 1/2010, of March 1, of amendment of Law 7/1996, of January 15, of Regulation applies of Retail.

In the case of food supplements, these must have correct labeling and be notified to the competent health authority by the company responsible for their marketing, which in turn must be perfectly identified on the product label.

Apart from the above, something important must be taken into account, and if the person in charge of the machines has a warehouse where he stores the food products sold by that means, he will have to be registered in the Sanitary Registry (RGSEAA) as a warehouse this type of products in the specific activity keys that correspond to it.
