LEGALEGO NUTRITION ACHIEVES TO BE AN AMAZON PARTNER

After a year of hard work from our managers, the multinational Amazon has given the green light to our company so that we can offer food consulting services to its suppliers, which will further multiply our international presence by being officially an Amazon partner.

For a long time, we have been advising all our clients to sell their food supplements through Amazon in different countries. In our blog, in fact, we write several articles on how to accomplish with Amazon’s requirements: Amazon warns about extended producer responsibility and requirements to sell food supplements in the United Kingdom.

It has been a few months of a lot of effort and constant work to achieve that LegaleGo Nutrition becomes an official Amazon partner. But finally LegaleGo team did it and we have achieved to be official partners of the multinational Amazon, which allows us to provide legal coverage to all our clients and to all suppliers that sell their food supplements via this marketplace.

In fact, we recently received the call from our first client coming through Amazon: a Belgium-based company from Mexico that wants to open the market to the United States, but needs our advice on labeling, notifications, and registration.

But the same as this company from Mexico, every day we receive the request from other companies interested in the food consulting services that LegaleGo offers from its offices in Granada, Madrid, France, Germany and, soon, Italy.

And the fact is that it was one of the main requirements from Amazon to be able to ‘recommend’ the services of LegaleGo Nutrition. It was necessary to have an office and offer our services in Spain but also in other countries of the world as the US, France, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, Germany or the United Arab Emirates. But, in addition, we needed testimonials from at least five clients from the European Union that could prove our professional experience in the regulation and regulatory compliance of food supplements. And we got it!

This way, we are the first and only company based in Spain specialized in regulatory compliance of food supplements that will be able to offer its services from this moment on to companies from any country in the world that already sell or intend to market their products through Amazon.

In order to sell food supplemeents via Amazon, the first thing is to contact our highly specialized team and we will analyze in detail the situation and products that the client wants to market according to the regulations of each country where the client wants to sell them. Our services include an exhaustive review of the label (list of ingredients, dosage, healthy declarations, mandatory food safety warnings…), translation into the official language of the country, adaptation of the label to the country’s internal regulations and the notification process of each food supplement in each country before the relevant authorities, to obtain the so-called “Pre-Market authorization” which is mandatory to start selling the products.

At the moment, we offer our services in the following markets: Spain, Ireland, France, Portugal, Belgium, Holland, Finland, Sweden, Austria, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Hungary, United Kingdom, FDA…etc. Food supplements must comply with European regulations but also with the internal regulation of each single country where the product will be sold individually, but, in addition, a notification procedure must be followed for each product before the relevant authority of the country where it will be sold.

This is the field where LegaleGo is specialized in order to offer our clients the best regulatory compliance advice, not only in Spain, but also in any other country where our client is interested in selling their products.
